General

line

FreeN Medical Innovation (“FreeN”, “we”, “us” or the “Company”) places utmost importance on making its website accessible to people with disabilities, and we are committed to enabling every individual to browse the site comfortably and easily.

We believe that every person has the right to equal, dignified, comfortable and independent access to our digital services. To this end, we invest ongoing efforts and resources in order to adapt the website (the “Website”) to the requirements of applicable accessibility legislation and standards.

Accessibility Standards and Compliance

line

The Website operates according to the accessibility principles of:

  • The Israeli Standard IS 5568 for Web Content Accessibility;
  • The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the W3C

all as far as reasonably practicable, taking into account technological constraints and third-party content.

What Has Been Done So Far

line

In order to improve accessibility for users with disabilities, the following measures have been implemented (in whole or in part) on the Website:

  • Responsive design – The Website is adapted for display on various devices, including desktop computers, tablets and smartphones.
  • Compliance with accessibility standards – The Website operates in accordance with the accessibility principles of Israeli Standard IS 5568 and WCAG 2.1 Level AA, to the extent reasonably practicable.
  • Text size adjustments – You can change the text size using your browser zoom functionality, including the keyboard shortcuts Ctrl and + (to increase text size) and Ctrl and – (to decrease text size).
  • Keyboard navigation – The structure of the Website allows easy navigation using a keyboard only (for example, by using the Tab, Shift+Tab, Enter and arrow keys).
  • Alternative text for images – Alternative text (“alt” text) has been added to meaningful images on the Website, to the extent feasible, in order to assist users who rely on screen readers.
  • Semantic structure – Use of headings, lists and other semantic elements has been implemented, as far as practicable, to support assistive technologies and logical navigation.
  • Forms and links – Forms are designed, where possible, with clear labels and instructions; links are written in a descriptive manner to indicate their purpose or destination.

Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we continue to review and improve these measures over time.

Technological Support

line

The Website has been tested and is intended to function properly on the latest versions of the following browsers:

  • Google Chrome
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Apple Safari
  • Keyboard navigation – The structure of the Website allows easy navigation using a keyboard only (for example, by using the Tab, Shift+Tab, Enter and arrow keys).

The Website is also designed to be compatible, as far as reasonably practicable, with screen-reader software commonly used by persons with visual impairments.

Due to the wide variety of devices, operating systems, browsers and assistive technologies, full compatibility in every environment cannot be guaranteed; however, we make ongoing efforts to improve support.

Ongoing Efforts and Known Limitations

line

We conduct periodic reviews and testing of the Website in order to identify and address accessibility barriers. Despite our efforts to make all pages and content fully accessible, some parts of the Website may still:

  • Not yet be fully adapted for use with certain assistive technologies;
  • Contain content, plug-ins or components provided by third parties that are not under our full control;
  • Require further development or adjustment in order to fully meet the applicable standards.

If you encounter an accessibility-related issue, we encourage you to contact us so that we can examine the matter and, where possible, provide an appropriate solution.

Third-Party Content and External Websites

line

The Website may contain links to external websites, platforms or services operated by third parties. Such sites are not under our control, and we are not responsible for their accessibility.

We nevertheless recommend that third-party providers make their content accessible as well, and we will be happy to receive feedback regarding significant accessibility barriers on external services to which we link.
